The Luiss Graduate Summer Schools are not just summer courses, but structured Master’s Degree orientation pathways, designed to support university students during a decisive phase of their academic journey.
Through a structured experience, the Graduate Summer Schools offer concrete tools to clarify goals, explore advanced disciplinary fields, and delve into the Luiss educational offer, available in both Italian and English.
Participation in the Graduate Summer School does not imply any obligation regarding enrolment in a specific Master’s Degree Program, but provides concrete tools to make an informed choice for your future.
Practical Learning and Career Networking
Participating in Luiss Graduate Summer School means engaging in immersive summer university courses in Europe that integrate academic theory with applied learning.
Lectures with professors and industry professionals, company visits and real-world case studies allow the immediate application of what is learned, strengthening analytical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Career Labs are a central component of the programme, offering structured professional guidance through meetings with alumni and managers, insight into labour market expectations and practical tools to evaluate your academic and professional profile. The result is a clear connection between postgraduate education and career development.
Admission Test: A Step Forward Towards Your Master’s Degree
Luiss Graduate Summer School includes a dedicated focus on the Luiss Master’s degree admission test, offering targeted academic support and the opportunity to sit the test during the programme.
This offers a strategic advantage, allowing participants to anticipate a key phase of admission to a Master’s degree programme, approach the application process with greater confidence and reduce uncertainty in planning academic progression.
ECTS Credits and Academic Recognition
Each Graduate Summer School allows you to earn up to 2+2 ECTS credits, depending on the chosen pathway (2 ECTS with the Academic Deep Dive or 4 ECTS with the Full Experience). University credits (ECTS) represent concrete added value and strengthen the student’s academic profile.
- For Luiss students: by participating in the Full Experience (two weeks), you can acquire 4 ECTS (valid as “Other Activities” or Internship), provided they are already included in your study plan and not yet earned. Recognition is granted exclusively for the entire duration of the programme; no partial credits will be awarded.
- For students from other Universities: the Graduate Summer School is open to students from all universities. At the end of the programme, Luiss will issue an official transcript certifying the achievement of 2 ECTS (for a single week) or 4 ECTS (for two weeks); the actual validation of these credits remains at the discretion of your home University.
